The Kaleidoscope Project is a brand spanking new electro-acoustic group that is a collaboration of some of Portland's best local jazz artists that combines a range of sounds from Indie Jazz, Alternative Pop and Modern Folk.
Principle musicians are:
Matthew Gailey- Voice/Synth Bass/Alto Melodica/Alto Sax, Clifford Koufman (Obo Addy and The Bitter Sweet Trio) on trap set and West African hand drums and wearer of fancy hats, and Dave Iula on Electric and Acoustic Guitar (the one with the cool glasses)

Clay Giberson (Go by Train and Upper Left Trio) on keys and synthbass
Andre St. James (Sonny Rollins, Bobby Hutcherson, Mel Brown, Nancy King and many others) on Upright Bass
Don Corey (Flatland, Jujuba) on Electric Bass
Steve Cleveland (Johnny Ward, Chata Addy, Jujuba, The Bitter Sweet Trio) on Keys and Wurlitzer

The Matthew Gailey Jazz Band
This a straight ahead jazz band that performs standards from Ellington, Nat Cole, Ray Charles and many others. The group is made up of a rotating roster of local Portland jazz greats including Andre St James and Clay Giberson.
